i think it’s beautiful when you come across a song that you knew from years ago, one that you loved because it meant a lot to you, and you know every word even though you haven’t heard it in so long. and you can’t help but smile because it’s like finding a part of your past that you otherwise would have forgotten or lost.

Beautiful Thing #37: Taking a surprisingly awesome picture.
Whether you’re serious about photography with an expensive camera or just a little digital one, it’s always awesome when a picture turns out really well. Sometimes its when you accidentally hit the shutter button or the light turns out interesting or you were trying to take a picture of something and end up with a totally different picture (example I was trying to take a picture of water skimmer bugs but they wouldn’t focus and ended up with an awesome picture of trees reflecting in the water)

Beautiful Thing #36: Old movies
Old movies are the best, especially if they’re in black and white. Back then every actor or actress had I kind of heir about them. Each had a very distinct voice and look about them that is quite admirable. I love taking in the trends of the time like the long cigarrettes, the hats, the cat eye makeup, the clothing, everything!
I also love seeing how movies have changed over time, today the actresses seem like normal everyday people, but back then they had to have a certain voice quality and look.
Also, the music and story lines are so different!

Beautiful Thing #35: Listening to a heartbeat
Whether it’s your own or someone else’s it’s rather soothing. Sometimes it can be the only reminder that we’re still here, that life isn’t a dream and that we’re still fighting. If you think about it, a heartbeat is the epitome of everything beautiful because it’s life. Sure, life sucks sometimes, but without life, we wouldn’t be able to see or hear or feel these things everyday and realize how beautiful they are.
Sometimes you can use a heartbeat as a lullaby or something to calm youself down. Sometimes, on a quiet day perhaps, sit and listen to the song your heart makes,listen to the song your signifigant other’s heartbeat, listen to your childs(when you have them or if you’re a momma), listen to you pets, listen to anyones, it’s the most wonderful song the world has to offer.
